The third day of the conference marked the conclusion of the second edition of Communication & Media Days Split 2025.
On the final day of the Communication & Media Days Split 2025 conference, organized by the Communication and Media Studies program at the University of Split, the audience had the opportunity to hear various perspectives on the role of digital technologies, media literacy, and quality journalism in contemporary society.

The program began with a panel titled "Knowledge and New Technologies - Challenges in Education," which brought together speakers from academia and the research sector. Nebojša Lujanović, from the Communication and Media Studies program at the University of Split, opened the discussion with his presentation "Learning, Knowledge, and Artificial Intelligence (Is It Time to Change the Concept?),” raising the question of the need to redefine the concepts of knowledge and learning in the context of AI development. Andrea Bilandžić, from the postgraduate program Business Economics in a Digital Environment, a collaboration between the University of Dubrovnik and the University of Zagreb, presented her paper "Speaking Their Language: How AI and Neuromarketing Shape Communication in Project-Based Classrooms," analyzing how modern digital tools are transforming educational communication and the student experience. The panel concluded with the joint presentation "On the Edge of Trust: The Role of Media Literacy in Empowering Digital Media Audiences," by Leali Osmančević, from the Department of Communication Studies at the Catholic University of Croatia, and Antea Boko, from the doctoral program Media and Communication at the University North. They emphasized the importance of media literacy among digital users. The panel was moderated by Vanja Pavlov from the Communication and Media Studies program at the University of Split.

After a short break, the second panel titled "Re-Thinking Journalism" followed, focusing on the current challenges and prospects of the journalism profession. In the first presentation, "Navigating Online Media: Rediscovering the Value of Information," Vanja Pavlov discussed the value of information in today's online environment. Marko Pavić, a journalist from Večernji list, in his presentation "What Could Be Better in Croatian Journalism? The Example of Seven Leading News Portals," offered an analysis and reflection on current practices in Croatian media. Finally, Jelena Jurišić, from the Communication and Media Studies program at the University of Split, in her talk "Quality Journalism - Information on the Bumper," highlighted the importance of quality and credibility in journalistic work. The panel was moderated by Viktorija Car, head of the Communication and Media Studies program at the University of Split.
