"It may not be the biggest, but we’re certain it’s the longest-running street humanitarian-promotional campaign in the world!"

MoSt is a non-governmental, non-political, non-profit organization founded in 1995 with the goal of improving the lives of children, youth, people living in poverty, and the homeless. Through its work, MoSt actively implements local, regional, national, and international strategies aimed at combating youth risk behaviors, poverty, homelessness, and social exclusion.

MoSt is well-known among the citizens of Split for its numerous events, initiatives, and public actions that invite and involve the entire community — children, students, senior citizens — in their work. They have proven time and again that Split is not just a dot on the map, but the people who live in it.

Their best-known and largest event is undoubtedly the street humanitarian and promotional campaign “A DI SI TI?!” ("Where Are You?!"). As part of this annual action, volunteers sell donated items such as CDs, DVDs, comic books, jewelry, vinyl records, board games, and more — with all proceeds going directly to MoSt.
The event traditionally takes place on the weekend before Christmas. Each year, it grows larger and more impactful. For example, during the most recent edition held on December 16, 2023, more than 80 organizations, institutions, schools, political parties, associations, informal groups, businesses, NGOs, and individuals took part — many of whom signed up a full year in advance, right after the previous event.

On a sunny day at the Split Riva, among 728 volunteers, the University of Split also found its place in the cheerful buzz and festive music. In collaboration with the University and the Head of the Public Relations Department, Antonija Žaja Čičak, first- and second-year students had the opportunity to represent the University’s colors with pride.
They worked tirelessly all morning in an atmosphere full of joy, selling generous donations from students and faculty members — and proudly recorded a donation of €25,782 on behalf of the University of Split!

Our students had only words of praise for the event, emphasizing the irreplaceable sense of unity that both the city of Split and the MoSt Association bring to life year after year. And the photos from the Riva? They speak louder than a thousand words!
