The KIM Team Visits the First and Second Gymnasium Schools – 2024

As part of the project I Investigate_Blue Connect, we visited the First and Second Gymnasium schools in Split. Professor Viktorija Car and Professor Nebojša Lujanović, together with students Josip, Roko, Ruija, and Gabriela, held a workshop on the topic "How We Read Media Content." The professors tested the students' knowledge with a media literacy quiz.


The workshop aimed to raise awareness about the importance of media literacy and a critical approach to the information we receive daily through various media platforms. Through an interactive approach, students became familiar with the basics of analyzing media content, recognizing manipulative techniques in the media, and distinguishing facts from misinformation.

The students pleasantly surprised our professors and students with their level of critical evaluation of the media’s role in society, and we agreed to meet again!
