As part of the Communication & Media Days Split 2025 conference, the photography exhibition “Unmasking” was officially opened on Thursday evening at the Photo Gallery of the Fotoklub Split. The exhibition features works by third-year undergraduate students of the Communication and Media program at the University of Split, created as part of the Visual Expression course under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Viktorija Car.

The opening began with a welcome speech by Ana Žanko, president of Fotoklub Split, who emphasized the importance of collaborating with young artists and highlighted the gallery's openness to future student projects. Speaking on behalf of the students, Gea Delić expressed gratitude to their mentor and fellow classmates, noting that the exhibition symbolically marks the conclusion of their three-year educational journey.

Mentor Viktorija Car praised the students, whose works reflect a personal, sincere, and thoughtful view of the world from the perspective of Generation Z.

The “Unmasking” exhibition explores, through photography, how students perceive their own identity under the pressures of digital life and social expectations.

Exhibiting artists include: Ana Bolanča, Lara Buzov, Špiro Čizmić, Gea Delić, Jere Jerčić, Lucia Klarić, Milana Knežević, Vjeko Krtolačić, Mia Marinović, Nikolina Marinović, Tea Marušić, Karla Milanović-Litre, Franina Milković, Ljubica Pranjić, Ana Runjić, Tea Stipanović, Fani Stričević, Rui Škegro, Ana Vujević, Marija Vukorepa, and Luka Žunić.
